Fat Kat Slim’s was in search of a 360 degree approach to services to fully support their unique bar, restaurant and live music space that opened in Nashville, TN in the fall of 2019. The stylish and swingin’ mid-century destination located in downtown Nashville needed to establish their brand presence and voice as a throwback diner with a modern rock n’ roll twist within a competitive marketplace. Masscult created a marketing strategy from the ground up that included full social media management, live event programming, content creation, PR and overall brand direction in the marketplace. These services entailed implementing a regular social media post schedule, graphic design, copywriting, audience engagement running paid digital ads across multiple platforms and analyzing online traffic to adjust strategy accordingly.

A visually appealing custom WordPress website highlighting the different aspects of the Fat Kat Slim’s business was designed and regularly maintained with important information so the online space could remain a relevant and valuable source of information. Masscult also worked with FKS Creative Director and veteran tattoo artist Adam the Kid in designing their merchandise collection that would be displayed in-store and online and also handled fulfillment and customer service needs.

Masscult produced a brand photo shoot to highlight all of the main components of their business – cocktails, dining, and rock music – and build out necessary lifestyle content. This resulted in beautiful photographs that captured the spirit of Fat Kat Slim’s and marketing assets that boosted engagement online.

For the official launch, Masscult executed a digital marketing strategy and paid ad campaign with local media outlets that packed out the house for the splashy grand opening. The event was produced by Masscult and was complete with a full roster of popular local rockabilly bands performing live, tattoo pop-up shop, classic car display and other surprises.
